Kalimba Magic NEWS

Each autumn, the Percusive Arts Society, PAS, holds its international conference, PASIC, and thousands of top drummers, students, and avid amateurs gather to make a lot of noise, exchange a lot of ideas, and see the newest percussive toys available. Kalimba Magic was at booth 98 at PASIC in Austin, TX, on November 6-8.

The Hang Drum is one of the coolest instruments around and is surprisingly similar to the kalimba in the way the notes are layed out. Kalimba players can learn a lot from the common Hang scales, and you can even get your kalimba tuned to a hang drum scale.
