Kalimba Magic NEWSintroducing new models!
|

Usually at this time of year I inform you that AMI is raising their prices by 10%. While the inflation rate in the US does not warrant a 10% annual price increase, the inflation rate in South Africa does warrant that.
That said, AMI has decided not to do any price increase at this time. They have said that they may need to do a price increase later in the year, but for now the prices are holding steady.
There has been a price increase on the Goshen Box Kalimbas - they had been such a bargain, I think they just woke up.
Due to factors beyond our control, the Hugh Tracey kalimbas we ordered in late 2011 have been repeatedly delayed. However, they will be arriving in a week or two, and when they do arrive, give us a day to add them to the inventory, and then we'll ship the backordered kalimbas out to you promptly!
Since June of 2006, Kalimba Magic has been pretty good at posting Tips of the Day, first five days a week, and then four days a week.
Due in large part to my recent involvement in the band Baba Marimba, we have just switched to a Tip of the Week. But you will always be able to access the rich archive of over five years of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday tips.
Just a note that the Book for the Sansula in Heavenly A Tuning is on the shelves and ready to go! Also, we are working on a book for the Sansula in Beautiful E Tuning. Look for this new Sansula Book in the coming months.
While you are here reading about the sansula, be sure to check out the article with videos of several different sansula tunings in this newsletter.
The new 12-Note Exercise Book finally came back from the printer and has shipped to those who bought it early.
While the exercise book mostly focuses on... well, exercises, there is a really big download of 66 songs for the 12-Note Kalimba that will serve you well in your quest to play great music on the Catania 12-Note Kalimba.
