Description
Are you a musical genius? Or do you just know music theory? Or are you just inspired? This kalimba can do just about anything.
The Hugh Tracey Box-mounted chromatic kalimba is an Alto Kalimba on the front (15 notes, or two octaves in the key of G), and two octaves of the chromatic notes (11 notes) on the back side. You play the front side with your thumbs and the chromatic notes on back with your fingers. In principle, it is possible to play this instrument in any key, though the easiest use of this instrument is to play in the key of G (ie, mainly front notes) with a few accidentals. This is NOT recommended for beginning musicians. However, serious musicians who are new to kalimba are good candidates for this instrument. AND you can always ignore the back side notes and just play the front side notes as an ALTO KALIMBA.

Each of these kalimbas come with the built in pickup.
The standard instrument now comes in G so it is like the Alto on the front, but for $10 more we can set it up to be in C on the front.
