Alto Riff 1

My new goal for the Thursday Tips is to teach you a different riff each week. To teach you the riff, I'll provide an instructional video and several bits of tablature that show you the different parts, perhaps some exercises that will help your thumbs get it and then we'll put them all together into a final riff.

Here are several tablature PDFs, two for exercises that will help you learn this riff, four for each of the four phrases of the riff, and one for the full riff:
