Looking For a Family/Educator/Musician Gift Idea:

1 person can be the leader and start it off, then point to the other kalimba players to either repeat their rhythm or create their own sound and the player stops when the leader points to another kalimba player in their group. Make sure to take turns being the leader and maybe even switch and change kalimbas.

Another idea:

Make it a game: Play the kalimba in a certain pattern and try to play the same pattern as the leader, until everyone has had a turn. If one makes a mistake, leader gives them a chance to see it again and lets them try again. It is all about the learning experience and creating a creative musical environment.

Another music inspired idea:

Playing a song using five 5-tined kalimba creating a chordal choir and being able to play songs as they transition for one chord to the next. Maybe even playing along with other musicians.
