Thank you for your patience during this transition from the founder of Kalimba Magic, Mark Holdaway, has passed his business on to me to own and operate. This past week while working on setting up an accounting software the inventory counts went to zero causing our website to give only the option “read more”. Meaning everything was sold out, even though there was inventory available.
On the flip side of this negative experience inventory has been counted and updated, giving me the opportunity to know what I have on hand in stock. Despite still working on the accounting software.
While being on phone with the accounting software I decided to go adventuring and playing some of the different kalimbas available. If you have not checked out the Hokema B-11 Melody it’s a great therapy instrument. The vibration of this instrument is amazing. I passed the Hokema B-11 to my spouse and she was surprised that the instrument was still vibrating when I passed it to her to try. The vibration of the instrument feels great in the hands, and the sound was amazing too.
In addition, Mark Holdaway wrote a book about playing on the Hokema B11 and it was neat working on learning songs (“Joy to the World” and “This Little Light of Mine” ) from the book. If you love kalimbas and eager to want to explore more we have several different types of Kalimbas, karimbas, sansulas, Moon-10, and Star-13.
