The Mbira Style Treble Kalimba is an abstraction of 2/3 of the mbira dzavadzimu’s notes. The left side tines are set up for accompaniment, and the right side tines are set up for melody lines. The instrument lends itself to interlocking patterns, and can play both African music and songs such as “I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You.”
